Return Policy

Return Policy:
PLEASE READ BEFORE RETURNING MERCHANDISE!
We require an RMA #;Return Merchandise Authorization#; number

Heres how it works:
1. Call or email your sales rep within 72 hours of receipt of delivery, and describe what you are returning and the reason for the return. He/she will provide you with a unique RMA number if approved.
2. Package up the merchandise and write your RMA# legibly on the side of the box with a marker.
3. Ship the box to us within 14 business days. When the merchandise arrives it will be processed by our receiving department in the manner discussed by you and the rep #;refund, exchange, etc.;. We do this twice a week so be patient we handle returns as we get them.

The rules:
ALL RETURNS MUST HAVE AN RMA NUMBER ON THE BOX! We cannot accept returns without an RMA number.
All returns must be sent prepaid via parcel post or UPS ground service. Send to EV and

Returned items should be packed well. Be sure to insure the package with the post office or UPS.

If you need a replacement item right away, we will charge you for the item, but we will credit you upon receiving and processing the returned item.

There will be a 20% restocking fee for all returns, if approved we can give you store credit. Unless the return is the result of our error there will be no charge and we will gladly exchange any product for another product we sell. No returns over 14 days from the invoice date will be accepted. Due to the mechanical nature of many of the parts once opened we cannot sell them to another party therefore on many items such as electronics there are no returns.

Racing Planet USA reserves the right to deny a return on items damaged by the customer during installation or return shipping.

We cannot accept returns for merchandise damaged in shipping en route to the customer. If you receive damaged freight from us, save all packaging materials and call us so we can begin the claim process. If and when we are reimbursed for damaged goods, we will refund or replace them to you. Shipments are measured and weighted before shipping to ensure that the correct items were sent.

Special orders, electrical parts, tools, and manuals are NOT refundable.
Racing Parts, Engine Replacement Parts such as pistons are not refundable only exchangeable or a credit can be issued. Many of these parts have delicate items such gaskets and rings which can easily be broken, we check these before shipping to make sure they are included in the boxes, our suppliers WILL NOT replace them if you break them you will have to buy replacements.

Clothing and jackets are NOT refundable only exchangeable.

Damaged Goods:
Please let us know ASAP if any goods arrive damaged.
Please keep all original shipping containers and take pictures if possible.
Damaged goods claims are handled through the shipping carrier ;UPS,FedEx, USPS;. We will assist our customers in these claims. We only ask that customers be patient as sometimes this process can take longer then any of us would like!

Free Shipping Promotions:
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO and International orders do not qualify for free shipping. Oversize, hazardous, and tire fees are not waived by our Free Shipping offer.

Sale / Closeout Items:
No Returns for any reason on closeout items.
Used / Damaged / Blemished Merchandise
Hard Parts, Tools, Tires
Any part which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed on a vehicle is non returnable. Tools which have been removed from their packaging are non-returnable.

Any merchandise which has been taken out for a ride; its considered used.
We encourage you to walk on your carpet in your boots and to try your helmet on indoors before heading out on the bike.

Any merchandise which shows signs of use ;wear, bugs, dirt, smell, pet hair, scuffing etc; or otherwise is in a condition other then it was received cannot be returned.

No returns or exchanges on:
Open box or installed electrical items; if an item is DOA let us know and it will be handled under warranty;.

Fiberglass parts, including bodywork, under tails, and huggers. Do Not Return Used merchandise.

Order Cancellation / Modifications
If you change your mind, act quick!
We turn around and process orders extremely quickly.
Orders can be modified or cancelled only while their status is
labeled In Process;. Once an order has been sent, Sent to Warehouse; it cannot be cancelled or modified, as the order has been processed by our warehouse and we are awaiting tracking information.
