Carburetor with clamp fixation (direct mount) are used where the carburetor is directly mounted on a stiff intake manifold. This is necessary on stiff stock intake manifolds coming with the vehicle or on several tuning intake manifolds. Generally we show the sleeve diameter of the carb flange in the title of the carb.
