The BGM 200cc cylinder is an improved version of the already reliable and powerful original cylinder. Suitable for the 200cc engines of the Rally200, PX200, Cosa200 as well as the Spanish DS/DN/TX/Iris models, the BGM cylinder offers an additional plus in safety and performance through an exact honing to 9/100 running clearance as well as slightly larger scavenging channels. This makes it slightly more powerful and more fuel efficient than the original.
The cylinder is run with the original cylinder head and comes ready to install with pistons, clips, piston pins and base gasket. The exhaust port can also be taken over from the original cylinder (screwed).
TIP: The cylinder runs great with the BGM Big Box Touring exhaust (BGM1011TR). This further enhances the beautifully torquey layout of the original engine and offers more power and performance across the rev range with unchanged durability. If you want a little more power and are doing an engine overhaul anyway, you can further increase the power by installing a crankshaft with a modified intake angle (BGM031800G). For a displacement plus and even more steam take directly the BGM Touring long stroke shaft with 60mm instead of 57mm stroke. This also has an improved intake angle, in addition this increases the displacement to 208cc and the cylinder timing angles also increase. This makes an otherwise completely original engine without filing and milling already much more sovereign without losing its beautiful drivability. The larger stroke is simply compensated by a 1.5mm head gasket spacer. With this the engine quickly has 13-14hp at the wheel and rides very relaxed and sovereign. A nice side effect is the absolute invisibility of these tuning measures.
