Schmitt abolishes regular sealant massacre on your workbench with this fuel and oil resistant set of gaskets. The double-sided silicone sealing lip conforms to the contour of the sealing surfaces when the engine halves are bolted together, compensating for small imperfections.
The shaft seals marked RD, LD and WD, respectively, are installed according to their direction of rotation, thus achieving maximum sealing and, at the same time, speed stability and service life. The incorporated "swirl" ensures permanent, targeted recirculation of lubricants to the bearing or shaft.
Due to their design, Schmitt shaft seals with return swirl achieve the best possible tightness even when the shaft is at a standstill. The material FKM selected here is characterized by excellent resistance to fuels and lubricants.
