This universal ignition is a freely programmable CDI HQ racing ignition for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
The ignition battery based, which means the spark is not generated by an alternator (stator / rotor), but is fed directly from a battery. The advantage of this race ignition is that the rotating mass is significantly reduced through the lack of a flywheel and the ignition can be fitted to almost any single cylinder engine as only the pickup and the rotor need to be added.
Note: This is a universal tuning product exclusively for the racetrack - knowledge of motor mechanics & electronics are necessary for installation. Various adjustments to the vehicle and/or motor must be carried out.

In order to use the kit must be connected to a PC USB port in order to program and plan your yield curve with the CD & software provided by Polini. For technical assistance and software questions you will have to contact Polini Spa in Italy.
Works for any 2 and 4 stroke engine equipped with a POLINI ignition. Improper handling during modification can result in breakage and irreversible damage to your engine.
Unit runs on battery and requires a consumption of 0.7A.

By modifying your ignition curve accurately and efficiently, you will optimize the performance of your machine. Comes complete as shown. Computer with USB port is necessary to use.

-Ignition curve from 600 to 20,000 rpm.
-Modification / programming in stages of 100 revolutions / minutes.
-Variable variable can be modified in steps of 0.2 °.
-Only on a computer and not in real time on your 2 wheels.
Minimum operating system for the software:
-Must have a Windows PC with USB port to operate
-Window Microsoft® XP, Windows 7 and 8 (can also be used on other system but operation is not guaranteed)
-Memory Minimum RAM 512 Ram
- Hard disk space requested 200MB.
-Resolution of screen minimum 1024x768 (works without problem on a higher resolution).
