PLEASE READ BEFORE RETURNING MERCHANDISE! We require an RMA #;Return Merchandise Authorization number **Special orders, racing/reformance parts, OEM parts (this includes all OEM Kymco Parts), plastics/body parts, electrical parts, tools, tires, exhausts, drive belts, tires, rims, and manuals are NOT refundable.** Racing/performance parts includes but is not limited to Malossi, Polini, Airsal, etc. and other racing and/or preformance items. Please read below for additional information. Heres how it works [please read the Rules below not all items can be returned]: 1. Call or email your sales rep within 72 hours of receipt of delivery, and describe what you are returning and the reason for the return. He/she will provide you with a unique RMA number if approved. 2. Package up the merchandise in a shipping box and write your RMA# legibly on the side of the box with a marker. Do not use the original packaging from the item you are trying to return as the shipping box, we will not issue you any credit or refund if you do. 3. Ship the box to us immediately, as we must receive your return within 10 business days of approving your RMA#. If you do not ship your return back within this time limit we will not be able to issue you any credit on your return. When the merchandise arrives it will be processed by our receiving department in the manner discussed by you and the rep #;refund, exchange, etc.;. We do this twice a week so be patient we handle returns as we get them. 4. We do monitor return activity for abuse and reserve the right to limit and/or deny returns, exchanges, refund, and credits in all instances. All orders are inspected and photographed at the time of shipping, if you attempt to return an item that is not in the same condition as when we shipped it to you, yes, we will know and you will be denied the refund or credit. The rules: ALL RETURNS MUST HAVE AN RMA NUMBER ON THE BOX! We cannot accept returns without an RMA number. All returns must be sent prepaid via US Mail or UPS ground service with a tracking number. Be sure to insure the package with the post office or UPS. If you need a replacement item right away, we will charge you for the item, but we will credit you upon receiving and processing the returned item. For approved returns received within the return window, there will be a 20% restocking fee for most returns and/or cancellations, except for special order items, such as OEM Piaggio, Vespa, Derbi, Kymco and Hyosung parts. If you return special order OEM parts, tires, or other parts that are special order items, we reserve the right to determine whether or not a refund shall be issued; and any such refund will be subject to a 40% restocking fee. Please note there are no returns on plastics and/or body parts. If you cancel an order for a body part once the order has been processed, the order will be subject to a 40% restocking fee. If your return is approved we can give you store credit. Unless the return is the result of our error there will be no charge and we will gladly exchange any product for another product we sell. No returns over 14 days from the invoice date will be accepted. Due to the mechanical nature of many of the parts once opened we cannot sell them to another party therefore on many items such as electronics there are no returns. For specific information regarding other parts that cannot be returned, please read on. If by courtesy, we accept a return after the 14 days from the date of invoice, your return is subject to a 40% restocking fee. Additionally, but not limited to these scenarios and or any variation thereof, we do not accept returns if you decided to sell your bike and no longer need the part several months after we shipped you the item; your scooter was stolen before you got around to the project; your mom grounded you and you are not allowed to ride for a year; you crashed your bike and it is no longer operable, but cylinder kit was only used for an hour and the exhaust looks pretty new and does not appear to have any scratches; you have no mechanical ability and bored the cylinder head too much and lost or damaged the piston rings because you did not think you needed the appropriate tools for installation; you decided to burn pure alcohol through your brand new exhaust and it caught on fire; you ordered a clutch assembly and decided that if you took the springs and the nuts off the assembly we shipped you, you could make your old one work and would like to ship us back the pieces that you have left over from the complete clutch we sent you. This may sound harsh or funny, depending on your sense of humor, but we sell you the parts because you order them. We can not take back the part because you modified it and did not like how it turned out, you broke it, or/and used it, even if by accident. But we do love honest customers, so if you need help let us know what happened and we will try to assist you as best we can. And if you missed step # 4 above, just to make sure you understand: We do monitor return activity for abuse and reserve the right to limit and/or deny returns, exchanges, refund, and credits in all instances. All orders are inspected and photographed at the time of shipping, if you attempt to return an item that is not in the same condition as when we shipped it to you, yes, we will know and you will be denied the refund or credit.Shipping is not refundable. If after a return, your order falls below the $299 threshold for a free shipping, please be advised that the applicable shipping cost for your order will be deducted from the amount of your returned items before any refund is issued to you. Therefore, please do not order items just to meet the free shipping limit, only to return them later. You will be charged the shipping owed on your original order because you will no longer meet the free shipping requirements. There are no returns and no refunds on drop shipments. If you have Racing Planet drop ship a product to your customer, you will need to accept the return of the item to your address. Please do not instruct your customer to send returns to Racing Planet. There is an added fee for drop shipments. If you have questions about drop shipping fees and procedures, please contact our company by opening a support ticket and we will be happy to assist you. Racing Planet USA reserves the right to deny a return on items damaged by the customer during installation or return shipping. We cannot accept returns for merchandise damaged in shipping en route to the customer. If you receive damaged freight from us, save all packaging materials and call us so we can begin the claim process. If and when we are reimbursed for damaged goods, we will refund or replace them to you. Shipments are measured and weighted before shipping to ensure that the correct items were sent. Special orders, electrical parts, tools, exhausts and manuals are NOT refundable. Special Note on Racing Exhaust Systems and Replacement Mufflers: Due to the type of product, its use, and location rust is not covered by any warranty whatsoever regardless of mitigating circumstances. These items are sold as is where is. It is the owners responsibility to maintain, properly store out of the rain / snow / elements, and if needed apply heat resistant lacquer for the maintenance of the product. Certain manufacturers provide additional information regarding maintenance of Race Style exhausts with bare metal, and it is advised that those maintenance procedures are followed. We do not cover installation. Improper installation and/or items falling off during operation are not covered by warranty. It is up to the repair center, dealership, or installation shop to cover installation and to follow proper procedures from the manufacturers. Clothing and jackets are NOT refundable. Damaged Goods: Free Shipping Promotions: All Sale / Closeout Items: Any merchandise which has been taken out for a ride and/or tested; its considered used and not returnable and not refundable. Any merchandise which shows signs of use; wear, bugs, dirt, smell, pet hair, scuffing etc; or otherwise is in a condition other then it was received cannot be returned. Fiberglass parts, including bodywork, under tails, and huggers. We do not accept returns on any fuel filters, air filters, filtration device. Do Not Return Used merchandise. There are no returns on tires. No warranty on tires. Tires should be installed by a local motorcycle dealership to ensure proper installation. There are no returns on luggage racks and windshields. Please make sure you are purchasing the correct size for your vehicle, application lists are on the website for verification. If you have an issue with a part that is DOA or damaged/defective when you receive it, act fast. DOA means Dead on arrival i.e within a day or so of receipt, so please do not wait weeks after you received the part to tell us there might be something wrong. You must notify us within 72 hours of receipt of an item. If you received defective part and notify us timely, you may need to provide pictures and additional information such as videos which will be sent to the manufacturer for their review and determination. We do not warrant and manufacturers will not warrant improperly installed items. The manufacturers' team of mechanical experts (which have very impressive knowledge) will review your photographs and videos and can tell, for example, but not limited to, if you used the part, if you skipped a step and damaged it, if you broke it when you installed it, if you cut off the wire, if you forgot to put oil in it, if you over tightened a bolt and cracked the case, they even know if you dropped it, etc. They will also notice if you decided to remove the ceramic coating on your cylinder kit and caused a hole in the side of the cylinder with whatever chemical you used (yes, this actually happened). So, please if you believe that you received a defective part (one that was actually received defective), please notify us immediately and be prepared to timely provide us what we need to work through the issue with the manufacturer on your behalf.Order Cancellation / Modifications |
