A set of FKM double-lip shaft seals from Schmitt with directional oil swirl sealing lips.

The rotary shaft seals marked RD, LD or WD are installed according to their direction of rotation. They offer maximum sealing and at the same time speed resistance and top durability. The integrated "twist" ensures a permanent, targeted return of lubricants to the bearing or shaft.

Due to their design, Schmitt rotary shaft seals with return swirl achieve the best possible tightness even when the shaft is stationary. The FKM material selected here is characterized by excellent resistance to fuels and lubricants.

This set of shaft seals is suitable for Simson moped / mokick Simson S50, KR51/1 Schwalbe, SR4-1 Spatz , SR4-2 Star , SR4-3 Sperber , SR4-4 Habicht engine housings.

Difference FPM, FKM, Viton®:
The abbreviations and names mentioned stand for the same basic material, namely fluororubber. FKM is the abbreviation for fluoroelastomers according to the American standard ASTM. Viton®, on the other hand, is a trademark of the company DuPont Performance Elastomers.
