CDI unit Naraku unrestricted DC type for Kymco for People 50, Super 9 AC, Super 9 LC, Cobra 50, Top Boy 50 Scooters
Naraku unrestricted tuning CDI. Opens up the engines rev potential. Simply swap for the original without messing with wiring. Only for use where a sports variator or racing sleeve is present (e.g. Polini Hi-Speed).
Only suitable for scooters with DC ignition system.

Open tuning CDI without speed limitation from NARAKU. In addition to the mechanical throttles (e.g. variator sleeve), the scooter is also throttled via a speed limit in the CDI. Without changing the CDI, tuning measures of the scooter are only effective to a limited extent, since the power speed is not reached. Even with a larger cylinder, the maximum speed cannot be reached because high speeds are blocked.
This item works on some Super 9 Air Cooled models as well as LC in the USA. Please check plugs, and verify your model prior to ordering. Older 2007 models or prior use AC CDIs in the USA. Newer models post 2007 will be DC CDIs.
The CDI is simply exchanged for the throttled one. Unplug the old CDI and plug it onto the new CDI. No cable work necessary. Please only use if a racing sleeve or a sport variator such as B. Polini Hi-Speed was installed. Only suitable for scooters with DC ignition system. Note: You can determine whether an AC or DC CDI is installed as follows. Disconnect the battery Switch on ignition start with Kickstarter If the scooter starts, an AC CDI is installed.
