MVT cast iron cylinder suitable for everyday use with 50cc capacity and very good torque curve. No rev orgies, but simply power and pull through and that already from low speeds. Thus, this MVT cylinder is particularly suitable for all who want to have more power available and especially for mountainous areas and pillion operation.
The cylinder can be driven with original cylinder head. The carburettor jetting must be adjusted necessarily! We recommend the use of a 17.5 carburettor to compensate for the increased compression and the need for fuel. A sports exhaust is not absolutely necessary, but increases the performance of the cylinder.
Only for pre-2001 Yamaha ZUMAs in the USA and the BW in Canada. These featured Vertical Minarelli Air Cooled 2T engines. In the USA 2002-2011 Zuma versions use the Minarelli Horizontal 2T AC Engine. 2012 and later Zuma are called the Zuma 50f (which replaced the 2-stroke version), both 4-stroke fuel-injected models. We call this the Minarelli 4T on the Racing Planet USA website.
If you have a newer USA version Zuma 2002-2011 search for engine and cylinder parts that list the Minarelli Horizontal 2T Engine.
