A set of high quality Naraku SKF crankshaft bearings incl. FKM premium shaft seals suitable for switch scooters with Derbi / Piaggio EBE, EBS and D50B engines.
Bearing set includes one each SKF left and right crankshaft bearing and two FKM crankshaft seals. This variant has a polymer plastic cage whose elasticity is higher, and runs cooler and lighter due to reduced inherent friction. However, this type of bearing is more sensitive to improperly adjusted engines. The polyamide plastic cage must not be permanently exposed to temperatures above 120°C. For this reason, the bearings should not be mounted in engines with catalytic converter. Please note! When changing the crankshaft, always use new bearings and oil seals. Always install the half-open bearing side facing the crankshaft. Explanation difference between FPM, FKM, Viton®: Behind the abbreviations or names mentioned is the identical basic material, namely fluororubber. FKM is the short form for fluoroelastomers according to the American standard ASTM. In contrast, Viton® is a trademark of the company DuPont Performance Elastomers.
