Complete replacement engine for Chinese-built 4-stroke scooters with 12” wheels and a rear drum brake. As a result of the time saved, at times replacing the entire engine can be cheaper than repairing one. This replacement engine is complete with all the drive parts, alternator, starter motor etc. Carburettor not included. When installing the engine, you need only take note of the alternator: if the replacement engine has a different pin configuration on the alternator, the alternator and rotor from the old engine should be reused. The replacement engine has 2 pins in the alternator plug. All other parts are identical. The differences are in the gearbox output shaft design, onto which the rear wheel is mounted. If needs be, the old shaft can be easily taken from the original engine. This takes approx. 15mins.
