Malossi carbon reed petals for improved responsiveness over steel variants. Should the petals break up, there is the added assurance that they will simply be chewed up by the engine and spat out the exhaust and not cause irreparable damage as with the steel versions. Carbon petals are a must in any engines. Engines respond differently to different reed thicknesses. The thicker the petals the higher the engine can rev. Delivery includes 6 reed petals.
The inlet diaphragm influence the response of the engine. The originally installed steel membranes are relatively resistant, but unfortunately also very sluggish. When installing carbon plates, your motor reacts more directly and more lively to the gas movement.
The second and not insignificant advantage is the tendency of the platelets to break every now and then. With the steel parts, engine damage is preprogrammed and enormous. Relatively little happens with the carbon plates and mostly they just end up in the exhaust without causing damage.
Carbon membranes should not be missing in any engine!
With the Malossi membranes you also have the option of influencing the torque curve through different strengths.
Thinner platelets: More tightening in the lower speed range.
Thicker platelets: allow the engine to turn down further in the higher speed range due to better filling The scope of delivery includes 3 pairs of plates with a thickness of 0.30, 0.35 and 0.40mm.
