Ready-to-install cable pull starter for clockwise rotating Puch E50 engine types with original Bosch or Ducati ignition, respectively, suitable for Puch Maxi S, N or Puch Supermaxi LG1.
Installation on the vehicle:
Starter pinion: First clean the flywheel. Then screw the appropriate drive pinion for the pull starter onto the pole wheel and secure the screws with liquid threadlocker such as B. Loctite.
Pull starter: Position the starter housing and carefully tap it with a rubber mallet until the starter is optimally seated. Now the pull starter just needs to be screwed tight.
Startup process:
Before attempting to start, pull the rope slowly a few times so that the engine revs idly. Then hold the handle firmly and pull until it meets resistance. The starting process can now be ended with a stronger pull. Tip: Gloves provide more grip.
Warning:
With the installation of the pull starter, the treadmill becomes inaccessible (the pedal arms are in contact with the pull starter housing). Therefore footrests, a longer pedal axle or a pedal axle extension are required.
