WHY FKM/VITON®
The material FKM (fluorocarbon rubber) is extremely resistant to heat, friction and, above all, fuel/ethanol. In Germany, current premium fuel already contains up to 5% ethanol admixture per se. In other countries, the ethanol/alcohol content is even higher. Conventional gaskets can swell or soften on contact with fuels containing ethanol. The BGM PRO FKM/Viton® gasket, on the other hand, offers perfect protection. In addition, Viton® has very good gas impermeability compared to conventional sealing materials and is also highly resistant to ageing.

REVERSE TYPE
In addition to the high-quality material, the BGM PRO gasket is also designed for twisted installation. The seal is installed in the tank opening, not in the tank cap. This results in two advantages:

• The rubber can no longer fall out of the cap

• The rubber provides a higher sealing edge, the tank surface remains clean when refueling
